One day my lady says to me, "Say we were hanging out at our house with your mother. Suddenly, a masked man breaks into our house. He puts a gun to your head and puts a gun in your hand. He says, "The gun has one bullet, you have to kill one of these women or I'll kill you all. Who do you kill?"

I think about it for a while and proceed to ask, "And I can only kill just one of you?"

Now I'm on the couch.

The answer varies according to region as far as general acceptability.

My response would have been, "I'd have him shoot you. I only have one mom, and I can always get another girlfriend."

And if she threw a fit, she'd be on the damn couch.

I wanted to know if it's been done though.

One of the commenters I knew on Jez a few months ago went completely silent because she was in a messy divorce and her ex found out her handle. Still kinda miss her. The whole Bill fiasco with alt accounts makes me think of her because I could swear she's come back as someone else. No star, though.

@Tony Kaye: The original commenter used to be on Jez all day when I just got approved. She had a pretty distinctive voice and style.
"Newer" commenters on Jez tend to hold back in their comments at first, but people who've voluntarily decided to give up their old accounts in favor of anonymity tend to just jump right back in. Most of the time they tell you who they are (privately), but I'm guessing not always.

It is based on the theme that these people all play WarCraft and their real life interactions with each other. Watched about two episodes and wanted to shoot myself in the face.

@KRayGolf: I applaud you for trying to make a logical argument, but you have made two big flawed assumptions.

1) We are NOT what we eat. This can be scientifically proven. The food molecules may be broken down and used in my own body, but I am clearly not a walking packet of ramen.
2) Jesus: it is impossible to either prove or disprove his existence. Thus, you can't use him in an argument.

So, after a recent brush with a virus, I'm staying away from 4chan. I got addicted after the recent Jessi Slaughter coverage when I check it out. That place is disgusting, perverted, etc. but it's so hard to stay away from. I actually appealed the 14 day ip ban.

Is it just me, or is that freaking place addicting like crack?

I feel dirty, now.

@Hazc: I once stumbled upon it like 3-4 years ago, and it was all gory death and shock photos. Not for the weak of stomach, at all. The language seemed more grammatically correct back then too, but it was still pretty bad.

At some point, the winds changed and it became the crazy immature illiterate cesspool it is today, full of random CP, wannabe memes and god-knows-what-else.

I can't decide which is worse.

I have no problem staying away.

Also, the navigation sucks balls.

@Gaucho85: Meh. Things happen. The probability of you getting a virus on a Mac from 4chan (unless you followed a link or something and downloaded porn) is pretty low. It's most likely that your hard drive was just dying anyway; it could be that you got a virus. The world will never know for sure.
